Outsourcing and optimizing speed

Barentzymes’ wetlab activities are based in Tromsø and focus on rational development processes at high throughput by minimizing manual work that to thelargest extend will be outsources in order to optimize speed.

Key activities include small-scale fermentation to generate enough enzyme for characterization of enzyme properties and matching with customer specifications.

Wetlab activities in Tromsø interlink with key resources at the University of Tromsø and at local, national and international research institutes and service providers in order to optimize the utilization of research based innovations out of these institutions for commercial purposes.

Barentzymes enjoys state of the art laboratory facilities at the Barents BioCentre Lab and 37 sqm new office fully equipped to provide an ideal framework to support our ambitions.
